How to Book a Wedding Photographer

Just call 206-356-6119 or email Rebecca. Rebecca will set up a face-to-face consultation to talk about all of your options and preview album samples. Wedding photography is usually booked one year in advance.

Deposit

A 50% deposit is due to reserve your date. Summer weekends book quickly and there are often multiple couples getting married on the same day. Your date will not be reserved until the deposit is made.

Turnaround Time

2-4 days to upload proofs from a shoot
1-2 weeks to receive a proof book and / high resolution CD
1-3 months to receive a finished album

What to Expect

Rebecca approaches weddings with a combination of journalism and traditional portraiture She uses high end professional digital cameras and portable studio lighting equipment to provide you with exceptional quality photographs that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Before the wedding day, Rebecca will meet with you to go over all of your wedding photography options, schedules, and other details. On the day of the wedding Rebecca will try to arrive early, dressed appropriately for your wedding style. She will hand out cards with your online album password to the wedding guests, or place email sign-up sheets on tables. If you purchased the Family Portrait session Rebecca will setup a studio area for formal portraits in a location out of the way and approved by you. If you did not purchase the Family Portrait session, Rebecca will most likely not bring lights to your wedding.

Unless you specify otherwise Rebecca will go into the dressing rooms of both the bride and groom for the ‘getting ready’ shots. Rebecca will edit these carefully to make sure only tasteful and appropriate photos are displayed in the album. Rebecca will also move around and shoot constantly during the ceremony. She makes every attempt to be discreet during the ceremony, while also getting close up and important photos. If you plan on having video coverage, and the videographer is not obvious (IE a family member) please introduce Rebecca ahead of time. She can coordinate shots with the videographer.

After the ceremony, Rebecca will do her best to cover all of the major events in the time frame allotted. She also gets amazing detail shots, candid moments, fashion bridals, and other shots that make a complete and touching wedding story. Rebecca will check in with you before leaving the reception.

The remaining balance is due upon final delivery of the images, not on the wedding day.
